My name is Patrick Gawron, I love data (about everything, in any form and its visualization), programming, photography, and electronics.
I live in Deggendorf, the gate to the Bavarian Forest.
I work in the IT Security and Hosting Administration for the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt – Gesellschaft für Raumfahrtanendungen (short: DLR GfR) in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany.
Before I’ve worked for DegNet, a Wireless-ISP in Lower Bavaria.
I was responsible for the IT Management, IT-Security, Compliance, and Infrastructure (VMWare, routers, servers, switches, wireless routers and many more).
I also programmed administrative tools to manage big amounts of network devices and design, create, deploy software to manage our company’s special needs.

With 16+ years experience in software, website and web application developement, I have an excellent unterstanding of how technology can be used to align the requirements of both the business and the customer.
In my spare time I study Business Informatics part-time career-integrated at the Deggendorf Institut of Technology. My Bachelors Thesis is about “Semantic Search using the example of Knowledgemanagement”.
When I’m not working or studying I love to code, analyze or visualize data.
Currently I’m totally into data analysis with python.
