My name is Patrick Gawron, I love data (about everything, in any form and its visualization), programming, photography, and electronics.
I live in Landshut the capital and with 63,000 inhabitants the largest city of Lower Bavaria in the German federal state of Bavaria.
I work in IT security and hosting administration for "Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt - Gesellschaft für Raumfahrtanwendungen" (short: DLR GfR) in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany.
Previously, I worked for DegNet, a wireless ISP in Lower Bavaria.
I was responsible for IT management, IT security, compliance, and infrastructure (VMWare, routers, servers, switches, wireless routers and more).
I programmed administrative tools to manage large volumes of network devices and design, create, deploy software to manage our company’s specific needs.
I’ve been developing ERP, CRM, CMS, DMS, RMA, direct mailing, e-government and internet telephony (SIP) front- and backend software solutions. Implementing modules to Interact with REST APIs of other Providers like AutoDNS, SMS Gateways, SCHUFA, DHL.
With over 18 years of experience in software, website, and web application development, I have an excellent understanding of how technology can be leveraged to balance the needs of the business and the customer.
In my spare time, I study Artificial Intelligence part-time at the Deggendorf Institut of Technology. Before that, I had studied business informatics with a focus on IT security.
When I'm not working or studying, I love to program, analyze or visualize data.
Currently I'm into building cryptographic tools and data analysis with python.
